Tilia Cordata ( Linden/ Small leaf lime)
Share
I cannot wait until the trees in my local park start to blossom. It feels me with so much joy ( my middle name :) ) The smell is so beautiful, similar to gardenia and the bees love them too. The only problem is that they aren’t in blossom for long so you have to be quick.
We are so lucky as the trees literally line the park so there is plenty for everyone. I have some oil available that was made from last year’s harvest and I absolutely love it. The possibilities of creations are endless and it also makes a great tea ( be cautious as it can have a sedative effect)
The lime tree grows all over Europe. Also known as the linden tree, limes are said to date back 70 million years. I am looking forward to adding some new tilia cordata products to my skincare line this Summer so keep your eyes peeled for them.
Hopefully you are starting to see some signs Spring is on the way, i know i have!
Look after yourselves
